Divya Bhaskar newspaper clipping dated January 28, 2024: An air show display exhibition was organized by the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team of the Indian Air Force at the Bhuj Air Force Station on January 26th. People had lined up along the roads and pathways two hours in advance. Everyone present, from children to adults, was left completely spellbound by the aerial maneuvers.
Along with this, students and citizens witnessed live demonstrations of missiles, fighter planes, helicopters, and other equipment at the Air Force Station. On Khavda Road, people climbed onto vehicles, trees, and hills to get a glimpse. The entire atmosphere reverberated with chants of ‘Jai Hind’ and ecstatic cheers.
During the event, Rogan art artisans residing in Madhapar, Ashish Kansara and Komal Kansara, presented a framed Rogan artwork featuring the team’s trademark to the team’s Group Leader, Captain G.S. Dhillon, who expressed his gratitude.
