How to do Rogan art
An artist produced a beautiful pattern on the fabic piece by boiling castor oil for 7 to 8 hours and adding natural colour and a binding agent. The cloth has a dark colour base, which allows the intense colours to stand out. Artists trail thread-like strands of paint to create elaborate designs in Rogan painting. We paint half of the fabric with the design, then fold it in half to transfer a mirror image to the other half. After that, we decorate it with small dots and lines.
