Yoga Day Logo In Rogan Painting by Ashish Kansara
Divya Bhaskar Bhuj, June 21, 2024: On the occasion of World Yoga Day today, the artwork of the International Day of Yoga logo has been created for the very first time using Kutch’s traditional Rogan art. Ashish Kansara, a resident of Madhapar in Bhuj, has carved the World Yoga Day logo using this 1500-year-old art form.

He shares that it took 20 to 22 days to complete this artwork using the 1500-year-old Rogan art technique, and its size is 15 by 18 inches. The specialty of this creation is that because it is made using Rogan art, the design can last for up to 200 years. At some point, the cloth itself might tear, but Rogan art never spoils. The Yoga Day logo has been filled using fine, intricate dots.
The colors used to prepare this artwork are highly attractive. Notably, while most Rogan artisans traditionally create artworks like the ‘Tree of Life’, Ashishbhai has previously created complex and challenging artworks using this art form, including Chandrayaan-3, Ram Darbar, Bharat Mata, and the Ram Mandir. Now, by creating the World Yoga Day logo, he has left everyone amazed.
